Job description

Field Service Technician (Arizona Area)

To support our teams, we’re looking for a Field Service Technician - Remote (Arizona area).

Reporting to the Director, Field Applications, the Field Service Technician - Remote (Arizona area) provides service and support at customer sites throughout their territory.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of low voltage distribution gear, transformers, and power distribution equipment.
  • Preparing technical reports, monitoring spare parts, tools, and consumables.
  • Following safety regulations and attending site meetings.
  • Interfacing with project management and site personnel.
  • Providing excellent customer service, addressing client needs, and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Communicating regularly with project managers.
  • Eliminating waste and adding value to processes.
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Performing additional duties as required.

Qualifications include:

  • Associate's degree in electrical power distribution or related field, or 5+ years of relevant experience. Military experience and data center/system experience are preferred.
  • Experience with electrical power systems, monitoring, communication protocols, and low voltage switchgear design.
  • Knowledge of UL standards such as UL67, UL1008, UL60950, UL891, UL1558.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and use test equipment like multimeters and current meters.
