As Field Service Technician Apprentice, you will report to The Customer Service Manager. To succeed in this role:

• You will maintain the fleet in the shop
• You will troubleshoot and perform diagnostics on malfunctioning equipment
• You will repair down equipment in the shop
• You will perform preventative maintenance on equipment
• You will develop and optimize efficient processes and routines
• You will help improve measurable success to business targets
• You will document all work performed daily using company provided hardware and software

To succeed, you need

• You have 1-2 years experience as an industrial related service or field mechanic
• You should have an appropriate electromechanical degree or training
• You have an understanding in the maintenance, overhaul and repair of different industrial equipment including electrical, hydraulics and/or pneumatics
• You should have a good command in English and a second language knowledge is a bonus
• You should have high energy levels
• You will be expected to lift up to 50lbs and work in industrial environments including extremes in temperature with walking, standing, reaching, bending and kneeling

Job location

As a FST apprentice, you will be based in our Santa Fe Springs, CA store. There may be some travel to the customer sites, with an experienced Field Service Technician. However, most of your work will be in the shop.
