As a Field Service Technician Apprentice, reporting to the Customer Service Manager, your responsibilities will include:

1. Maintaining the fleet in the shop
2. Troubleshooting and diagnosing malfunctioning equipment
3. Repairing equipment in the shop
4. Performing preventative maintenance
5. Developing and optimizing efficient processes and routines
6. Contributing to measurable success towards business targets
7. Documenting all work performed daily using company hardware and software

Qualifications include:

• 1-2 years of experience as an industrial service or field mechanic
• Electromechanical degree or training
• Understanding of maintenance, overhaul, and repair of industrial equipment, including electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus
• High energy levels
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in industrial environments with temperature extremes, involving walking, standing, reaching, bending, and kneeling

Job location

Based in our Covington, GA store, with some travel to customer sites. Most work will be in the shop.
