Job summary

C & B Operations, Idaho Falls location is seeking a John Deere Service Technician to perform repairs on agricultural equipment at customer sites and company locations. You will install new equipment, diagnose issues, and complete service reports with accurate time and notes. A valid driver's license and ability to travel to jobsites is required.

Qualifications

• Associates or better in Diesel Technology or Certificate in Diesel Technology preferred but not required.
• Experience using computers for diagnosing and documentation.
• Ability to meet physical demands (sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, pulling).
• Experience diagnosing and repairing agriculture, construction, off-road or heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs at customer or company locations and installs new equipment.
• Uses test equipment to analyze, evaluate, and locate problems; communicates with customer or supervisor.
• Completes all job notes, forms, and time cards; writes service reports at jobsite.
• Maintains vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment; follows safety procedures.
