Job summary

Strategic Employment Partners (SEP) is helping a well‑established manufacturer of precision vibration test systems hire two Field Service Technicians. These systems qualify spacecraft and defense hardware, and the role is field‑based in the U.S., with heavy travel and occasional international travel.

You will install and commission large systems at customer sites, perform preventive maintenance and calibration, diagnose faults to the component level, and train customers on new equipment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on repair experience on industrial or electromechanical equipment.
• Strong command of multimeters, oscilloscopes and schematics.
• Safe work practices around high voltage AC/DC.
• Experience working unsupervised at customer sites.
• Veterans encouraged to apply.

Field Service Technician, Aerospace & Defense Test Equipment

Location: Field-based, U.S.

Compensation: Up to $29/hr base, plus overtime and per diem

A well-established manufacturer of precision vibration test systems is hiring two Field Service Technicians. Their systems are used to qualify spacecraft and defense hardware.

This is a hands-on, independent field role. If you like being trusted to fix things on your own,

You’ll:

• Install and commission large vibration test systems at customer sites
• Perform preventive maintenance and calibration
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults down to the component level
• Train customers on new equipment

You’ll get six months of paired training, then run jobs on your own. The role involves heavy travel, both domestic and international, with long weeks on the road at overtime pay. No experience with this equipment is needed.
