Job summary

Parabit Systems, based on Long Island, is seeking a field service technician to provide on-site support for installation and service of access control systems. You will work with customers, resellers and suppliers, traveling to client sites as needed and maintaining company equipment.

The role emphasizes hands-on installation, troubleshooting, and adherence to safety and dress code standards, with opportunities to grow through training and customer-facing responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience installing/servicing Access Control Systems.
• Experience installing/servicing MAG-Locks and exit hardware.
• Basic knowledge of Series and Parallel wiring, AD/DC Power and Telephone circuit troubleshooting.
• Running CAT5 & CAT6 cable.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-call, on-site support to service call requests and system installations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide on-call, on-site support to service call requests and system installations.
• Perform service and installation work.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Standard work schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 - 4:30.
• Support and interface with customers, resellers and suppliers.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Manage and resolve issues/problems and client requests.
• Take on challenges and learn/train on the latest equipment.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience installing/servicing Access Control Systems.
• Experience installing/servicing MAG-Locks and exit hardware.
