Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician in Victoria, TX, to service pumps, controllers, and valves on site.

The role involves startup, commissioning, and on-site troubleshooting of instrumentation and electrical installations, with regular travel and safety compliance. You will be responsible for filling service tickets, documenting work, and collaborating with a team while maintaining knowledge of MS Excel and other Microsoft tools.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 2 years of related experience.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Experience with pneumatic and electronic devices.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft applications.
• Willingness to learn and work with others.
• Willing to travel with some overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Repairing pumps, level controllers, and valves.

Field Service Technician

Full Time Technical Victoria, TX, US

Description:

Repairing pumps, level controllers, and valves

Filling out time sheets and service tickets daily

Using chemicals and water to clean and circulate, process equipment on site.

Startup and commissioning of new equipment

Instrumentation and electrical installations and troubleshooting

Lifting and replacing of pumps

Installation and modification of thread piping and tubing.

Comply with all safety standards of individual field customers (i.e, training, JSA, and obtaining proper permits)

Operate and troubleshoot equipment problems on site.

Working knowledge of pneumatic devices and electronic devices to either repair or install them.

Strong understanding of computer software, (excel, electronic JSA's, Microsoft applications)

Willingness to learn and work well alongside others.

Travel with some overnight stays.

Preferred Experience:

6 months to 2 years of related experience

Physical Strain:

Lifting 50 pounds with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 30 pounds.

Bending, squatting, climbing, pulling, twisting, reaching, working at elevated heights.
