Overview

Mackenzie Stuart is partnered with a global leader in packaging machinery, specialising in extrusion, printing and converting equipment. This company is recruiting for multiple Field Service Technicians.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined with strong skills in reading technical drawings, equipment installation and alignment, and fabrication and troubleshooting of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of new machinery: including assembly, alignment, start-up, testing, acceptance runs and production support
• Lead a team of riggers during installation, ensuring timely project completion
• Troubleshooting and fault diagnosis of existing equipment
• Providing expert troubleshooting/maintenance advice and training to operators and maintenance staff
• Performing extensive preventative maintenance, audits and service on extrusion and converting equipment

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
• 2+ years experience with Paper Converting Machinery
• Valid Drivers Licence
• Good Communication skills in English
• Willingness to travel extensively around the USA (and occasionally Canada)
