We are looking for a full-time Field Service Technician (m/f/d) based in the UK to start as soon as possible and participate in an interesting and varied role within a well-functioning team.

The Topcon Positioning Group is a leading worldwide manufacturer of system solutions for precise positioning across surveying, construction planning and execution, agriculture, BIM, cartography and construction machine control.

Main duties and responsibilities
  • Preparation and execution of construction Machine Control installations and interventions at the customer’s office or on the construction site.
  • Pre- and post-sales support for customers, sales partners and Topcon employees, both remote and on-site.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for colleagues and dealers.
  • Carrying out training courses and briefings for end users, dealers and Topcon employees.
  • Work with professional CRM system.
  • Area of operation: Great Britain.
Required experience, skills and knowledge
  • Previous experience as an Installation Engineer within the construction sector preferred, but a plant/vehicle fitter with suitable mechanical and electrical installation experience may be considered.
  • B Driving License.
  • Language level English: B2 or higher.
  • Ability to work in a team environment that promotes collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Efficient communication both verbal and written.
  • Preferential qualifications: Technical knowledge of construction site processes and machines; technical knowledge of earthmoving and/or Civil Engineering processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite and experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
