Job summary

ENV Services, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician in New Jersey to test, maintain and repair HEPA-filtered devices, including Biological Safety Cabinets and Clean Rooms. Training is provided, and work involves traveling to client sites.

You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and document all work while commuting to sites. A valid driver's license, a safety mindset, and independence are essential as overnight travel is possible.

Qualifications

• Sound mechanical and electrical aptitude with troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent customer contact skills.
• Valid state drivers license with clean driving record; background check and safety training.
• Calibration or HVAC experience in pharmaceutical/biomedical fields is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Test, troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment at customer locations using company test equipment.
• Receive classroom and mentorship training.
• Provide safe maintenance for clients and communicate with technicians to resolve service issues.
• Prepare job paperwork documenting time, repairs, and parts installed.
• Work independently and represent the company professionally; overnight travel may be required.
• Operate a company vehicle and travel as needed.

ENV Services, Inc has been a nationally respected leader in calibration, certification and decontamination services. We are seeking a Field Service Technician to provide testing, maintenance and repair of HEPA filtered devices, including Biological Safety Cabinets, Clean Benches, and Clean rooms.

Responsibilities

• Using our test equipment, you will learn to test, troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment at customer locations.
• Training provided, both in classroom and mentorship with experienced technicians.
• Good troubleshooting skills are required to assess, diagnose and repair the equipment.
• Provide required maintenance for clients in a safe manner and communicate with other technicians to find solutions for service issues.
• Prepare paperwork at the completion of each job to record time, repairs completed and parts installed.
• Technician must be able to work independently without supervision and represent the company in a professional manner with a neat appearance at all times.
• A company vehicle is provided, overnight travel can be anticipated.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have a sound mechanical and electrical aptitude and troubleshooting skills as well as strong computer and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer contact skills.
• Technician must have a valid state driver's license with clean driving record to operate company vehicles, ability to pass a background check, customer drug testing and safety training.
• Calibration or HVAC experience in the pharmaceutical and biomedical fields are highly desired.

Position Requirements

• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in various positions (bending, kneeling, sitting, standing).
• Must be willing to drive for long trips and travel overnight.
• Work from a six foot ladder.
