The ideal candidate will have strong electrical troubleshooting skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to work independently or with a field crew. Travel to regional sites is expected as projects demand.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; 2+ years in electrical fields preferred.
• Active NETA II certification preferred.
• 1–2 years hands-on electrical testing, commissioning, and power distribution experience.
• Knowledge of electrical safety protocols (NFPA 70E, OSHA 30, LOTO).
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on testing, diagnostic troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on low, medium, and high-voltage equipment.
• Compile technical reports, test sheets, and compliance records for management and clients; follow safety procedures (JSA, LOTO).
• Coordinate with project managers and engineers to keep projects on schedule; mentor junior technicians.
• Represent LND professionally on client sites with clear communication and strong service.

Overview

LND Technical Services (LNDTS) is seeking a reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented Field Service Technician (NETA II certified or equivalent experience) to join our team on a full-time basis. This role executes critical testing, maintenance, and commissioning of low, medium, and high-voltage electrical equipment to ensure maximum system reliability, safety, and compliance across client sites.

The ideal candidate is highly skilled in electrical troubleshooting, demonstrates strong technical professionalism, and is comfortable working independently or as part of a field crew with minimal supervision. This position offers hands‑on experience on complex power distribution systems in substations and industrial facilities, making it an excellent opportunity for an ambitious technician eager to advance their career in the high-voltage electrical testing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform hands‑on electrical testing, diagnostic troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on low, medium, and high‑voltage equipment
• Compile accurate technical reports, test sheets, and compliance records for management and client reviewEnforce rigorous site safety guidelines (OSHA, NETA, NFPA 70E), conduct Job Safety Analyses (JSA), and execute Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols
• Partner with project managers and engineers to keep projects on schedule, and provide on‑the‑job guidance to junior technicians
• Represent LND professionally on client sites, delivering clear communication and strong technical service

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED required (2+ years of formal technical education in electrical fields strongly preferred). Active NETA II certification preferred
• Minimum 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in electrical testing, commissioning, and power distribution systems
• Deep understanding of electrical safety protocols (NFPA 70E, OSHA 30, LOTO, arc flash/shock hazard analysis)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs, climb ladders, and work on your feet for extended periods
• Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions, in confined spaces, and using various hand/power tools
• Flexibility for regional travel, occasional weekend work, and out‑of‑town trips as project schedules demand.
