Job Title: Field Service Technician

Duration: 3+ Months (Possible Conversion to Permanent)

Pay rate: $22.00 – $23.00/hr.

Job Description:

• Join our dynamic service team for this entry-level field service position as a Field Service Technician I.
• Depending on your assigned territory, you will provide services, repairs, and technical maintenance for ATMs, retail point of sale (POS) equipment, locksmithing, Electric Vehicle Charging (EVC), and related PC and peripherals on customer premises.
• Our training includes on-the-job mentoring, formal classroom sessions, virtual training, and self-paced learning opportunities.
• Responsibilities include performing maintenance on ATMs (e.g., card reader, printer, reset and test devices), electromechanical repairs, basic installation functions (e.g., setup, testing, cabling, mounting, locking), and resolving issues like paper jams, card jams, and bill jams.
• Inspect products for correct operation, resolve issues, or escalate as needed; prioritize and plan service calls; work within a team environment; complete required paperwork; manage service parts inventory; and communicate estimated arrival times to customers.
• Work with customers to ensure satisfaction and understanding of product functionality; follow key/alarm/combination control processes; use provided tools and repair kits; travel to customer sites to resolve issues.
• Our entry-level technicians typically respond to 5-8 calls per day across their territory.
