Job summary

H2O Innovation is seeking a Field Service Technician to service, maintain, and operate water treatment systems in the field. If you enjoy hands-on work, travel, and meaningful projects, this role offers opportunities to grow with our team.

The position requires working in the field across locations with frequent travel, lifting up to 75 lbs, and performing installation and maintenance tasks with accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
• Ability to read technical plans and schematics.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Must be organized, rigorous and meticulous; work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Load and change RO/UF and other membranes in field settings.
• Perform CIP on water treatment systems on site.
• Mechanically install/replace pipes, equipment, and valves.
• Glue PVC pipe and fittings and prepare installation points.
• Measure, cut, drill, and tap supports or installations.
• Pull wires, label and land to devices; ensure quality.
• Support process improvements and maintain a clean work area.
• Carry out related tasks and adhere to safety protocols.

The Day‑to‑Day

• Load and change RO/UF and other membranes;
• Perform CIP (Clean in place) on water systems;
• Mechanically install/replace pipes, equipment, instruments and valves for water filtration equipment;
• Glue PVC pipe and fittings;
• Measuring, cutting, drilling, tapping for supports or installation;
• Pull wires, label them, then land to devices;
• Ensure a good quality product;
• Support process improvements;
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition;
• Carry out all other related tasks;
• LOTO (Lock-Out-Tag-Out) equipment;
• Fill out field reports.

• Must be able lift, push, pull at least 50-75 lbs;
• Travel (vehicle or commerical airline) to customer sites with periodic visits to the USA Servie Office in Ramsey, MN and also to various locations for company meetings.
