Job summary

Savard Group is seeking a hands-on Field Technician to support pipe installation and jointing operations. The ideal candidate has fiberglass, GRP pipe, or related experience, is safety-conscious, reliable, and comfortable working in a field environment. Travel throughout the United States, including offshore sites wherever our field projects are located.

Shifts: Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–4:00 PM Weekends/OT/Travel as needed. Duration: Temp to hire after probationary period. Job ID#59187812

Qualifications

• Must have fiberglass, GRP pipe, composite, or related experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Read and follow piping drawings, equipment manuals, and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pipe installation and jointing to ensure procedures and quality standards are followed.
• Identify, inspect, handle, and properly store pipes, fittings, and chemicals.
• Prepare pipe and fitting surfaces for installation.
• Joint pipes and fittings according to approved procedures.
• Identify pipe and fitting defects and assist with repairs.
• Conduct hydrostatic and deflection testing on installed lines.
• Read and follow piping drawings, equipment manuals, and work instructions.

This position requires travel throughout the United States, including travel to offshore sites wherever our field projects are located.
