Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician to perform field service activities at customer sites, including proactive system troubleshooting, maintenance, and parts inventory management. The role requires travel (20–80%), strong problem solving, and safe work practices.

Responsibilities include collaborating with customers, supporting multiple systems, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. A CDL and relevant licenses are preferred or required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Capable of obtaining CDL, Class A or B with applicable endorsements.
• May have industry specific license(s).
• Ability to obtain all required customer clearances (TWIC, DISA, etc.).
• Ability to obtain DOT Medical card.
• Clean driving record.
• Work experience preferred; 2–5 years of technical work experience including industrial or commercial process water experience.

This role includes proactive system troubleshooting, works with mechanical, electrical, diesel equipment conditions, conducts preventative maintenance and parts inventory, and anticipates and corrects safety issues (both Company and Customer owned equipment). Has direct interfacing with customer and may be responsible for work in multiple systems/locations/customers.
