Job summary

AGS in Guymon, Oklahoma is seeking a Field Service Technician to service, install, convert, upgrade and perform preventive maintenance on AGS gaming equipment. This entry-level position requires a flexible 24/7 schedule, including holidays, and reports to the Regional Service Manager or Field Service Supervisor.

You will perform maintenance, troubleshoot incidents, keep parts inventory current, and participate in a weekly on-call rotation with other technicians, while upholding safety guidelines

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 2 years’ experience in electronics and/or computer networking.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• Entry level; gaming experience is not necessary, but is a plus.
• Licensing approval by tribal/state gaming regulators may be required.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Job description

The Field Service Technician is responsible for the service, installation, conversion, upgrade and preventative maintenance of all AGS gaming equipment. This is an entry-level position and does not work standard, set hours as work activities may occur throughout a 24-hour day, 7 days a week, including holidays. This position reports to the Regional Service Manager or Field Service Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance and general maintenance on AGS gaming equipment
• Completes all reports and paperwork in a timely manner
• Performs technical procedures on both slot machine and table game equipment
• Troubleshoots and repairs service incidents in a timely manner and escalates as necessary
• Keeps parts inventory current
• Participates in a weekly on-call rotation with other technicians in territory
• Provides “best in the business” customer service
• Adheres to all safety guidelines during work hours, as set forth by AGS

Skills/Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required
• Must be at least 21 years’ old
• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance is mandatory
• Entry level, gaming experience is not necessary, but is a plus
• Must have 2 years’ experience in electronics and/or computer networking
• Requirement to obtain licensing approval by tribal and/or state gaming regulators
• Basic computer skills required; May need to use all tools from Microsoft Office suite (primarily Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Understands basic AC/DC electronics
• Basic understanding of computer networking
• Sound problem-solving skills, organizational skills and attention to detail
• A flexible schedule may be required, with the ability to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

• While performing the job functions of this position, the employee will be required to operate a personal or work assigned vehicle. Must be able to drive long distances when needed.

This position may require registration with the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) and/or other gaming jurisdictions in which we operate.
