Job summary

CompucomStaffing is seeking a qualified Field Service Technician in Grand Junction, CO for a part-time role with extensive driving and on-site IT support. You will perform break-fix and IMAC calls, supporting Lexmark, Fujifilm, and other printers while resolving hardware issues on a variety of devices.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of field or IT support experience; certifications are preferred but not required. This W2 role offers a competitive hourly wage and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair hardware, including printers, laptops, servers, POS systems, and network devices.
• Support multiple customers with varying levels of technical complexity.
• Ensure all SLAs are met within the required 4 to 6 hour response window.

• A certification preferred but not required; Lexmark certifications and experience strongly preferred.

Our client is currently seeking a qualified Field Service Technician to join their team part time in Grand Junction, CO. This role requires extensive driving, efficient routing, and flexibility to adapt to changing schedules.

This role is supporting multiple customer environments and the technician will be dispatched to customer sites to provide general IT support, run break-fix and IMAC calls, and support a variety of technology devices. The technician will possess hands‑on experience supporting Lexmark, Client, Plotter, and Formatter printers, along with strong hardware repair and OEM service experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform break-fix and IMAC services
• Troubleshoot and repair hardware, including printers, laptops, servers, POS systems, and network devices
• Support multiple customers with varying levels of technical complexity
• Ensure all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met within the required 4 to 6 hour response window
• Accurately document work and time

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 to 5 years of field or IT support experience preferred
• A certification preferred but not required
• Lexmark certifications and experience strongly preferred
• Experience with Fujifilm, Client, and Lexmark printer break‑fix and installs is a strong plus
• Client, Dell, and Lenovo experience is desirable but not required
• Thrive in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment
• Demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure

Wage Range :

The rate for this position is between $16.50 – $22.00 per hour , unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
