Job summary

Alliance Technical Group, a leading environmental services company, is seeking a Field Services Technician for Evansville, IN. You will install, service, and repair CEMS and process analytic systems at industrial sites, troubleshoot electronics, and support customers remotely as well as on-site.

The role requires 2+ years in electronics, an A.S. degree or military electronics background, and willingness to travel 50–75% with on-call duties after training.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electronics experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot systems with various test equipment.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot system issues on electronic, pneumatic, pumps, and other components.
• Travel 50–75% overnight to customer sites, typically Monday–Friday.
• Participate in on-call rotation after training, which may include some weekends.

In the typical workday as a Field Services Technician, you will provide direct support to customers by completing a variety of work, such as new installations, troubleshooting and repairing system issues, maintaining, and servicing Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS) at industrial facilities. In this role, you might find yourself working with a team or individually, depending on the project. As a Field Services Technician, you will

• Install, service, repair, and maintain Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS) and process analytic systems for industrial customers at their facility
• Troubleshoot system issues on electronic, pneumatic, pumps, and other components for proper system operation
• Average 50 - 75% overnight travel to customer site typically Monday - Friday
• Participate in the on-call rotation, which may occasionally include some weekends, will be required upon completion of training
• Provide technical support via telephone and the internet

What You'll Need:

• A.S. degree or military experience in electronics, instrumentation, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of electronics experience
• Solid ability to troubleshoot systems with various test equipment
• Ability to work in physically demanding situations that may require you to lift 50 pounds unassisted, stand for extended periods, climb ladders, etc.
• Ability to climb and be comfortable operating at heights up to or over 200 feet
• Ability to work in enclosed spaces
• Able to pass a background check and drug screen
• Proven top performer and team player in past positions
• Must be willing to work outdoors in industrial environments.
