Job summary

BigFoot Staffing is hiring a Field Service Mechanic for our client’s established service team in Dallas, TX. You will repair and maintain commercial air compressors, pumps, and vacuum systems at customer sites.

Applicants should have a working knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles, an EPA Universal certification and refrigeration is desired, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to travel for overtime and overnight trips.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles.
• EPA Universal certification and refrigeration desired.
• Valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record.
• Availability for some overtime and occasional overnight travel.
• Reliability and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Use sketches, blueprints, and manuals to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Diagnose problems using tools and a systematic troubleshooting approach.
• Inspect, listen to, and disassemble machinery to identify malfunctions.
• Measure and inspect parts for wear or misalignment.
• Apply knowledge of electrical circuits, mechanics, and pneumatics.
• Test and replace faulty electrical components.
• Maintain your company vehicle.
• Keep your truck’s parts and tools organized and stocked.
• Complete paperwork and timecards promptly.
