Job summary

Culligan Water is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, service, and repair water treatment equipment for residential and commercial clients. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues in the field, and ensure on-time service while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Ideal candidates have a background in plumbing, HVAC, or construction, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs. Training is available for the right person.

Qualifications

• Experience in field service, plumbing, HVAC, construction, or related trade is a plus; training is available.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for equipment.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record and ability to meet insurance requirements.
• Must be fluent in English and able to lift 50+ lbs in variable weather.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair water softeners, filtration systems, and other equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on residential and commercial systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in the field and fix them quickly.
• Deliver and exchange salt, equipment, and supplies, providing on-time service.
• Educate customers about their systems and build lasting relationships.
• Keep the service truck organized and maintain tools and inventory.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Install, service, and repair water softeners, filtration systems, and other top-quality water treatment equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to keep residential and commercial water systems running at their best.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, solving problems quickly and efficiently in the field.
• Deliver and exchange salt, equipment, and supplies while providing dependable, on-time service.
• Create exceptional customer experiences by answering questions, educating customers about their systems, and building lasting relationships.
• Keep your company truck organized by managing inventory and ensuring your tools and equipment are clean, stocked, and ready for the next job.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in field service, plumbing, HVAC, construction, or a related trade is a plus—but we're happy to train the right person!
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a knack for troubleshooting and fixing equipment.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to meet company insurance requirements.
• The ability to lift 50+ lbs. and comfortably perform physical work in a variety of weather conditions.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills - you enjoy helping people and representing the Culligan brand.
• A self-starter who can manage a daily route, stay organized, and work independently.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be fluent in English.
