Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair construction equipment at customer sites and in-house.
• Perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and diesel systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance per schedules and standards.
• Complete service worksheets and warranty claims accurately.
• Maintain knowledge of schematics and operate safely under OSHA rules.

Summary:

We areseekinga highly motivated, skilled, and dependable Construction Equipment Field Service Technician. This person will specialize inthe criticaland complex troubleshooting, repair and maintenance ofheavyconstruction equipment and associated accessories at customer job sitesthroughout the area. The successful candidate will be an independent problem solver who isresponsive to customers’ needs andrepresentsour company in a safe, professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair construction equipment failures both in-house and at customer locations.
• Perform repairs on equipment and accessories including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and diesel engines.
• Performs preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on equipment in the field.
• Completes required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
• Engages customers in a professional manner andanticipatesprompt and efficient attention to customer needs.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of and capability in reading and understanding schematics.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of,activelypractice, and promote safe working conditionsin accordance withOSHA and other required regulations dealing with safe operation of all equipment.
• Prepare various reports as directed tomaintainaccuraterecords on equipment and preventive maintenance.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GEDrequired. Certification or degree in Diesel Technology Program preferred
• Minimum of5+ years of experience servicing, testing, installing, and troubleshootingheavyconstruction and industrial equipment.
