Job summary

Reworld Waste, LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician I to support cleanup and preparation for transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous waste. You will load and unload tanks and tankers, inspect equipment, hoses, and connections, and perform confined space work as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; GED Works program mentioned.

Apply today!**About the role**The Field Service Technician I is responsible for the clean-up and preparation for transportation of Hazardous and Non-Hazardous waste. Field Service Technician I is expected to perform various tasks including but not limited to loading and unloading tanks and tankers with bulk liquids, complete inspection of equipment, hoses and connections as well as perform confined space entry.Position Responsibilities* Safely operate equipment including but not limited to pressure washers, power tools, hand trucks, forklifts and other power tools in accordance with company policies and procedures as well as OSHA requirements, and all local, state and federal laws.* Handling, packaging and transportation of both Hazardous and Non-Hazardous materials* Removes materials from tanks, pits, or trenches with hand tools for industrial and environmental cleanup.* Work in confined spaces above or below ground and on or under equipment.* Daily work in confined space entry, mechanics, industrial hygiene instrumentation, pneumatic tools, electrical tools hand tools and/or other tools as needed.* Maintain a neat and clean working environment.* Acts as a professional representative of Reworld while acting in an autonomous manner at a customer site.* Complies with OSHA Health and Safety Rules and completes required training provided by Reworld.* Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications* High school Diploma or GED preferred.* *Reworld offers GED Works – a fully funded program for employees*to achieve their GED.* Ability to travel 10-25% of the time, including overnight travel.Physical Demands of the Role* Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb* Ability to lift/carry 50lbs* Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces* Qualify to wear a full-face respirator* Consistently work in various weather conditionsAll Reworld positions require a candidate's ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the role while upholding Reworld's Values, including (but not limited to) contributing to a safe and inclusive workplace, delivering results through trust, and building breakthrough capabilities.Please note that Level, Title and/or Salary may be adjusted based on the applicant's experience or skills.**Pay Transparency** Reworld is committed to paying its staff equitably, and we strive to provide competitive compensation and benefits packages. The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable).
