Overview

Position Summary:

Responsible for supporting wind turbine operations, focusing on major component exchange jobs under the guidance of more experienced technicians. Responsible for performing basic maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of wind turbine systems. This position is ideal for individuals looking to develop a foundational understanding of the renewable energy industry, with a particular focus on safety-driven practices and high-quality service.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

• Assist in major component exchanges for wind turbines, including but not limited to gearboxes, generators, and blades.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on turbine systems.
• Ensure all work is conducted in strict adherence to safety protocols.
• Record detailed reports on maintenance and repair activities.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of turbine systems and components.
• Participate in ongoing safety training and adhere to safety-first culture.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in wind turbine maintenance preferred.
• Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
