Job summary

ACF, Inc is seeking a Field Service Technician for the Generator Division in Florida. This role covers shop and field repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting of diesel and gas generators including ATS, batteries, and load banks.

The technician will support Martin, Saint Lucie, Indian River, and Brevard Counties. A signing bonus may be offered based on skill level and certifications.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5–7 years related experience or equivalent.
• Clean driving record per company policy.
• Experience with Generac, Caterpillar, Cummins, Kohler, Aksa, Blue Star, Taylor generators is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs of generators.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs after hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on generators.
• Read and interpret manuals, schematics, and work orders for maintenance or repair tasks.
• Use hand and power tools, meters, and material handling equipment.
• Drive company vehicle to job sites; overnight travel may be required.
