Job summary

Natural Gas Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician I–III to perform major maintenance and repairs on natural gas compression equipment across the Texas region. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, install and service equipment, and uphold safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have shop or field service experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in varied field conditions. Travel and physical requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR
• Pre-employment background check, drug screening, and MVR check; DOT physical may be required
• Experience as shop mechanic or field service technician is preferred

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance and repair needs on gas compression rental fleet in the region
• Troubleshoot and diagnose compressor system failures at various levels
• Perform maintenance, repairs, and overhauls as directed by supervision
• Comply with health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
• Document work performed and assist with training as needed
