Job summary

Natural Gas Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform skilled maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on compressor systems in the field. You will troubleshoot failures, optimize performance, and ensure safety and environmental policy compliance.

The role requires staying current with compressor and engine theory, completing paperwork, and mentoring junior technicians as needed, with opportunities to advance within our Midland, Texas energy services team.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and diagnose compressor system failures of all levels.
• Optimize compression equipment performance.
• Stay abreast of advanced compressor and engine theory and maintenance.
• Comply with safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• Complete appropriate paperwork as directed.
• Perform duties as trainer when required.
• Develop electronic and computer skills.
• Demonstrate leadership abilities.
