Job summary

Total Warehouse is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our Las Vegas team. This role diagnoses, repairs, and performs preventive maintenance on forklifts and material handling equipment at customer locations throughout Southern Nevada.

The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, customer-focused, with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, able to work independently while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Five (5) or more years of mechanical experience preferred in forklift repair, material handling equipment, heavy equipment, diesel equipment, automotive repair, or related mechanical trades.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all makes of lift trucks and material handling equipment.
• Perform scheduled Planned Maintenance (PM) services on customer equipment.
• Complete engine tune-ups and preventive maintenance without direct supervision.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, fuel, and mechanical systems.
• Operate a company service vehicle in a safe, clean, and professional manner.
• Test equipment following repairs to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Inspect equipment and identify safety concerns, wear items, and needed repairs.
• Properly identify and order replacement parts required for repairs.
• Assist in training and mentoring apprentice technicians as needed.
• Maintain accurate work order documentation using the TW Mobile application, including labor tracking, technician notes, recommendations, service photos, checklists, and parts requirements.
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, parts personnel, and management.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
