OWL Services LLC in Clarksville, TN is seeking a Field Service Technician to service and install security point-of-sale and EV charging equipment on a full-time, on-site basis. The role offers an hourly wage of $24.00 to $26.00 and requires travel up to 30–40% overnight, plus an on-call rotation with nearby technicians.

You will troubleshoot electro-mechanical devices, manage EV charger testing, review work orders, and use testing tools and POS systems (Verifone/NCR).

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills required.
• One+ years’ experience working in an electrical capacity preferred.
• Must be able to work independently and be a strong problem-solver.
• Strong attention to safety and willingness to follow all safety protocols.
• 24/7 on-call rotation with other techs in your area.
• Must be able to travel up to 30-40% overnight.
• Experience with POS systems (Verifone/NCR) a plus.
• Experience with alarms a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good driving record is required.
• Ability to travel and possessing air travel documents (REAL ID, Passport, etc.).
• Ability to use a computer and smartphone proficiently.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoots, inspects, replaces/repairs a wide variety of electro-mechanical devices such as cash registers, coin changers, security equipment, alarms, and point of sale equipment.
• Manage various EV charger testing requirements such as torque, thermal imagery, insulation (megger) and performance reports.
• Locate system performance issues and fix ground faults.
• Complete service requests and maintenance repair items in a timely manner and ensure all requests are handled professionally.
• Review work orders, manuals, and drawings to properly perform maintenance and service of equipment.
• Utilize various testing devices, multiple hand and power tools related to the job.
