Job summary

General Parts Group is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to repair and maintain commercial kitchen equipment across schools, healthcare facilities and restaurants in the Dallas area. A Rational Certified Technician is a big plus, with up to $6,000 sign-on for experienced candidates.

Compensation ranges from $20-$40 per hour based on experience, plus a company vehicle dispatched from home, ongoing training, career advancement, and a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, 401(k)

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are required.
• EPA refrigeration certification is preferred for HVAC/refrigeration techs.
• CFESA certification is a plus and shows professional credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment.
• Provide service solutions for gas, electric, and steam systems.
• Order and install replacement parts.
• Participate in after-hours & weekend on-call rotations.
