Job summary

VoltaGrid is seeking a SERVICE SUPERVISOR to provide onsite oversight of assets under the direction of the Operations Manager. You will act as the company’s representative on the customer site and manage daily tasks of the crew.

The role requires coordinating pre-job planning, instructing crew on procedures, monitoring safety, equipment, and communication, and ensuring adherence to SOPs. You will participate in safety meetings and maintain strong cross‑functional communication.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of leadership experience in related field.
• 3–5+ years in oil & gas service rental, electrically or mechanically oriented.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to work in exposure to extreme temperatures, wind, and precipitation, and at heights.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds up to 10 times per shift.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Be on call for both shifts while on rotation.
• Communicate with Engineering, Operations, HSE, and vendors as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite supervision of all jobs.
• Oversee training, performance, and recommendations for promotions, demotions, and termination under the Operations Manager.
• Review job parameters during preplanning with appropriate personnel.
• Instruct crew on procedures, routes, rig‑up, job assignments, safety equipment, and SOPs.
• Communicate with customer before, during, and after the job.
• Conduct safety meetings with the crew as required by VoltaGrid and the customer.
• Prepare reports and schedules to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Inspect work to ensure it meets SOPs.
• Assist with complaints about service and equipment and take corrective action.
