We are the North American division of the renowned Metrohm AG (Herisau, Switzerland), an industry leader in laboratory instruments and accessories for analytical testing and research.
We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Field Service Specialist to join our Ion Chromatography Service team in the Denver, CO area. The ideal candidate will work within a territory that includes parts of CO, WY, MT, UT, NE, and KS, residing within a 3-4 hour driving radius of Denver. Travel outside of the assigned region may be required to assist in other parts of the U.S.

As a successful Metrohm Field Service Specialist, you will apply your instrument and chemistry knowledge and technical experience with ion chromatography equipment to resolve customer instrumentation issues and ensure optimal system performance.
Your on-site services will include tasks ranging from simple repairs to complex installations, preventive maintenance, certifications, and refresher training for benchtop ion chromatography (IC) equipment. Additionally, this role offers the opportunity to collaborate with Metrohm's Process Analytics customers, focusing on IC equipment integrated within Metrohm's advanced Process Analytics solutions.
You will travel to diverse labs, meet different people, and observe various instrument applications. You will have resources to support clients face-to-face, via phone, email, and Microsoft Teams. The ability to prioritize a busy schedule over a large territory and work within a team is essential; positive customer relations and good collaboration with sales colleagues and customer support are key to success. Significant field travel will be required.
Ideal Experience and Education:
BS/BA in Chemistry (or a closely related degree) with 2-4 years of hands-on repair experience with ion chromatography and other chemical instrumentation. Prior travel for business is a plus.
Additional requirements:
Successful completion of a pre-employment background check, employment and education verification, and a 10-panel drug screening (including marijuana) are necessary.
