Field Service Specialist Needed ASAP
DUTIES
- Support the sales team with inspections of new and existing equipment.
- Take measurements and provide drawings of filtration systems, and record and understand process conditions.
- Work with the Engineering Department to understand design and solutions for filtration opportunities.
- Coordinate with plant personnel to commission new equipment, ensuring all systems are operable and filtration goals are achieved.
- Support equipment installation with technical advice and ensure customers follow project drawings and specifications.
- Oversee equipment installation and complete commissioning of filtration systems.
- Maintain records of field visits and provide reports in a timely manner.
- Visit fabricator sites for vessel inspection, quality control, and hardware installation.
- Provide feedback to Engineering and Sales teams on equipment design.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures in accordance with guidelines established by the company, OSHA, and customers.
- Package vessels and hardware for transport.
- Operate fork truck for loading and unloading equipment.
- Organize and maintain field tools and testing equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma required.Associate’s degree in related field or engineering preferred.
- Passport required andValid state driver’s license.
- Must be able to obtain or have a current TWIC card.
- Tavel - up to 50% of the time.
- 2+ years working in a Field Service Specialist, Technician, or Site Commissioning role.
- Experience with mechanical troubleshooting required and with process systems in a processing facility required.
- Knowledge of air flow, differential pressure in liquids and gases required, and other experience from chemical, hydrocarbon, and gas process plants preferred.
