Job summary

Eos Energy Enterprises is seeking a Field Service Site Supervisor to lead commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Eos energy storage systems in the field, domestically and internationally. You will manage site operations, mentor technicians, and ensure safety and quality in every task.

You will supervise field teams, coordinate with customers and partners, and participate in documentation and testing activities, with travel across North America and international

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent in a technical field.
  • 7+ years’ experience in energy storage service and operations.
  • OSHA-10 certification can be acquired through Eos.
  • Forklift/Boomlift/Scissor lift certification can be acquired through Eos.
  • Proficient in analyzing electrical schematics and safety practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of field technicians/engineers to commission large Eos energy systems.
  • Oversee day-to-day workflow and safety procedures on site.
  • Provide onsite or remote leadership for commissioning and maintenance tasks.
  • Serve as on-site point of contact for customers and partners.
  • Mentor field service engineers and technicians in system commissioning.
  • Coordinate with Product Engineering for testing and documentation.

Job Overview

As Field Service Site Supervisor, you will provide leadership and guidance for commissioning, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and maintaining Eos energy storage systems in the field, both domestically and internationally. You will provide onsite support independently or lead a field service team to accomplish assigned tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of field technicians/engineers to commission large Eos energy systems.
  • Set a positive work culture and foster a positive work experience for all team members.
  • Organize and oversee day‑to‑day workflow operations.
  • Support material management activities for site activities.
  • Read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
  • Provide guidance and direction on project quality and safety requirements.
  • Ensure preventive maintenance is completed on Eos energy systems, independently or leading teams.
  • Serve as on‑site point of contact for customers, service partners, etc.
  • Act as field escalation path for solving complex problems.
  • Independently commission and operate Eos energy systems locally or remotely.
  • Mentor field service engineers (FSE) and field service technicians (FST) on operating and commissioning Eos energy systems.
  • Assist in creating or revising system, customer‑facing, and internal commissioning documentation.
  • Support Product Engineering for testing of the complete system, including BMS interface.
  • Evaluate battery performance, including testing of Eos energy systems.
  • Utilize company‑provided Field Service and Work Order Management tools to retrieve and update information timely and accurately.
  • Write reports, record customers’ concerns regarding the functionality and performance of their system and interact directly with the customer.
  • Develop detailed knowledge of Eos’ commercial products and third‑party products sold by Eos.
  • Maintain working knowledge of the NEC (National Electric Code).
  • Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at Eos’s discretion.
  • Site Supervisor may have extended working hours depending on project needs for planning and coordination.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Work independently and lead a team proactively, with no supervision.
  • Implement quality control standards and assess safety hazards to ensure job site safety and satisfy OSHA requirements.
  • Effectively communicate challenges forthrightly and accurately.
  • Manage small to large teams of FSEs/FSTs.
  • Excellent computer skills: Windows, Office, PLC and networking knowledge.
  • Excellent knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems and controls, and use of voltage meters and testing equipment.
  • Expert knowledge of mechanical and electrical schematics.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Work productively with other departments.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent knowledge of troubleshooting electrical systems.
  • Medium voltage/Substation experience is a plus.
Education and Experience
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical field required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 7 years’ experience in energy storage service and operations required.
Certifications
  • Forklift/Boomlift/Scissor lift certification (can be acquired through Eos).
  • Construction Safety (OSHA‑10) certification (can be acquired through Eos).
Travel
  • More than 50% local travel.
  • Overnight/North America travel.
  • Other international travel.
Working Conditions

Factory – workers may be exposed to hazards such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, vibration, moving vehicles, electrical current, exposure to temperature changes or chemicals. Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, odors, dust, mists, gases, loud noise. Requires close visual acuity for activities such as analyzing data, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, visual inspection of small parts and use of measurement devices. Machine operation requires safety equipment including eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and lab coats. Employees may need to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally.

Customer/Partner Locations – employee may visit customer or partner locations, which may include office, manufacturing floor, laboratory environments, and construction sites depending on the location and reason for visit.
