Job summary

Vallourec - North America seeks a field service supervisor to oversee OCTG services, supervise crew operations, and ensure proper make-up and installation of VAM USA products on client sites.

You will perform on-site inspections, support sales during calls, and manage inventory while adhering to safety standards. Frequent travel is required, with on-call availability as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in OCTG services.
• Advanced knowledge of well completions.
• Experience with SAP ERP systems.
• English reading/writing/speaking with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and instruct service companies and rig personnel on proper handling and make-up criteria for VAM USA products.

• Verify connection signatures and calibration of make-up equipment.
• Maintain safe driving practices and comply with company safety standards.
• Be available on-call per company policies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and instructs various Service Companies and rig personnel in proper handling and make-up criteria for VAM USA products
• Supervises rig crews/casing crews in implementation and field evaluation of new products
• Perform critical inspections of VAM USA products on-site to field inspection criteria
• Provides procedural support and oversees control to ensure the product is installed and or maintained in the most efficient manner allowing the product to perform to its optimum design potential
• Follows up with customer's representative regarding past and upcoming jobs to identify potential areas of improvement and to continuously build positive relationships
• Responsible for service report fulfillment
• Accompany or assist sales with customer calls
• Responsible for maintaining and controlling all equipment and accessory inventory
• Verifies connection signature for acceptance or rejection and calibration of connection make-up equipment
• Responsible for ordering needed service equipment and ship equipment to job sites as needed
• Maintains and safely execute the Smith System of driving on company vehicles
• Available “On Call” in accordance with company policies and procedures to satisfy customer requirements
• Must follow all company policies, running procedures, specifications and safety standards
• Any other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience to meet skill level. Prefer advanced education
• Minimum 5 years in OCTG services
• Advanced knowledge of well completions
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, preferably SAP
• Ability to read, write and speak well in English and possess strong analytical and interpersonal skills
• Ability to understand and execute instructions through strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Must be available for frequent extended travel both domestically and internationally
• Have a valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Must be able to pass applicable testing as required
