Job summary

Veolia Group is seeking a Field Service Representative to deliver on-site technical service for chemical feed equipment and water treatment systems at a Lincoln, NE customer site. You will install, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot equipment while maintaining customer relationships through technical excellence.

You’ll perform water analyses, generate detailed reports, and ensure safety and compliance on industrial sites, traveling across assigned sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Technical degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronic Technology, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline is preferred.
• 2-5 years of instrumentation & electronics, plant operations/maintenance, or equivalent technical training is required.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel is required.
• Familiarity with water treatment processes and industrial equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and service chemical feed equipment, pumps, controllers, and instrumentation systems at customer locations.
• Obtain samples and perform water testing (pH, conductivity, hardness, silica, PTSA) and enter data into Insight trend platform.
• Act as technical consultant, providing recommendations, training, and solutions to customer management and technical teams.
• Perform water analysis, calibrate equipment, program controllers, and diagnose/resolve system issues via remote and on-site support.
• Maintain detailed service reports, inventory management, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Support multiple customer sites within territory, coordinating with sales for service delivery.

About This Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Field Service Representative to deliver exceptional on‑site technical service as the primary technical liaison between Veolia and our industrial customers. You'll work independently across diverse industries, providing expert installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting services for chemical feed equipment and water treatment systems while building lasting customer relationships through technical excellence.

This position will be based at a customer site in Lincoln, NE.

What You'll Do:

• Technical Service & Installation: Install, commission, and service chemical feed equipment, pumps, controllers, and instrumentation systems at customer locations
• Water Testing & Analysis: Obtain samples and perform water testing to include pH, conductivity, hardness, silica, PTSA, etc and enter data into Veolia’s trending platform (Insight)
• Customer Consultation: Act as technical consultant providing expert recommendations, training, and solutions to customer management and technical teams
• System Optimization &Troubleshooting:Perform water analysis, calibrate equipment, program controllers, conduct preventative maintenance, and diagnose/resolve system issues through remote support technologies and on‑site interventions
• Documentation &Compliance: Maintain detailed service reports, inventory management, and ensure all safety protocols are followed
• Territory Management: Support multiple customer sites within assigned territory, coordinating with sales teams for optimal service delivery

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Computer proficiency and mathematical skills for technical analysis

• Self‑motivated with ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Safety‑minded approach with ability to work in various industrial environments
• Able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds and perform precision work as needed(frequency varies by worksite)

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED is required
• Technical degree/diploma in Electrical, Electronic Technology, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline is preferred
• 2-5 years of experience in instrumentation &electronics, plant operations/maintenance, or equivalent technical training is required
• Familiarity with water treatment processes and industrial equipment is preferred
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel is required (a learner's permit or G1/G2 class will not qualify)
