Field Service Representative – Includes Sign-On Bonus

This position offers a range of $27.00/hr - $33.00/hr, based on skills and experience. The role is primarily remote, supporting the Minneapolis, MN vicinity, with travel to customer locations across the US.

Position Summary

The employee will support the Central US region, installing and maintaining low voltage systems in healthcare facilities, troubleshooting network connectivity and software configurations, and providing end-user training as needed.

Essential Job Functions

• Support and represent the company in the field, including site surveys, installations, repairs, and customer training.
• Install, configure, and commission new systems following company procedures.
• Perform service work including troubleshooting and repairs.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and site surveys.
• Provide training to end-users on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Complete administrative tasks such as reports, checklists, and inventory management.
• Attend construction meetings and participate in an on-call rotation for emergency repairs.
• Maintain excellent customer service and time management skills.
• Use hand tools and operate basic power tools; lift up to 75 pounds; work in tight spaces and extreme temperatures.
• Travel extensively, including overnight trips, up to 100% of the time.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's License with no restrictions.
• At least 2 years of experience installing or troubleshooting low voltage systems.
• Ability to obtain necessary state licensing.

Preferred Qualifications

• MN Power Limited Technician license.
• Associate degree in Electronics or related field.
• Experience with wiring, cabling, security, and access control systems.
• Experience in field service, customer training, radio technology, and data networking.
