Solventum (formerly 3M Health Care) is seeking a Field Service Representative I in Columbus, OH to deliver, install and maintain cutting-edge medical device equipment for healthcare clients.
You will drive a company vehicle, support customers, manage inventory, and participate in training. A HS diploma, customer-facing experience, valid driver’s license, and associate degree or higher are required; willingness to travel up to 20% and to work non-traditional hours.

This position is directly responsible for serving the needs of our healthcare clients, inclusive of the delivery, pickup and maintenance of cutting-edge medical device equipment. The Field Service Representative will interface with Solventum customers daily and is responsible for building, cultivating and maintaining superior customer relationships. Further responsibilities include performing and assisting in maintaining inventory of products, parts, disposables, and supplies. Additional Field Service Representative responsibilities include the cleaning, processing and quality control of medical device equipment, general housekeeping of facility and loading and unloading of equipment in company vehicles. As a Field Service Representative I, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Supporting customers to include patients and hospital staff on a regular basis providing superior customer service with customer centric solutions. Preparing medical device equipment (cleaning and disinfecting), disposables, and documentation processing for delivery Tracking inventory control on assets, parts, disposables, and supplies. Locate missing and misplaced equipment as needed. Loading and unloading medical equipment from company vehicles. Attending training and other scheduled business functions which will require commercial air travel.
This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position.
In this role, you may be required to enter healthcare or other third-party facilities. Those facilities may, in turn, require you to possess certain licenses, vaccinations, and/or other credentials or qualifications (collectively “prerequisites to entry”) for regulatory, safety, or other business reasons. All information will be kept in accordance with applicable law and Solventum policies. In order to respond to the prerequisites to entry, Solventum may share your information with the providers of medical screens, vaccinations, or verifications as well as the healthcare or other third-party facilities requiring the prerequisites to entry.

The expected compensation range for this position is $43,520 - $59,840, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
