Job summary

Pharma Logistics is seeking a Field Service Representative I to provide reverse pharmaceutical services to Pharma Logistics customers in the assigned territory.

The role requires up to 75% travel, including daytime and overnight trips, remote work from a home office, servicing retail and hospital pharmacies, and maintaining accurate records and strong customer relationships.

Job Summary

The Field Service Representative I position is responsible for providing reverse pharmaceutical services to Pharma Logistics customers in their assigned territory.

Job Duties And Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
  • Complete responsibility for servicing accounts in an assigned territory Coordinate and book travel to perform service events to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Maintain Pharma Dispatch compliance Accurate recording of pharmaceutical inventory via a laptop computer
  • Package pharmaceutical products into shipping boxes Coordinate shipping arrangements with FedEx and UPS
  • Meet or exceed assigned KPI/Metrics based on service quality, customer feedback, and overall productivity
  • Ensure timely and appropriate communication with all key stakeholders and customers
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with new and current customers in order to drive best in class customer satisfaction
  • Manage and maintain expenses
  • Up to 75% of daytime and overnight travel
  • Ability to meet client needs through high level of travel

Travel Requirements

This position requires frequent travel to customer locations within the assigned territory. Employees must be able to travel via commercial airline, rail, and automobile as necessary to perform job duties. Most travel will be local within the territory; however, overnight travel may be required depending on customer needs and service scheduling.

Occasional travel may also be required to attend work-related Field Service Representative meetings, training sessions, or company events.

Up to 75% travel, including daytime and overnight travel, may be required.

Work Environment

This position will require the Pharmer to work remotely, in their home office, travel using a car (personal or rented), and use customer facilities. This includes being subject to both environmental conditions. Customer facilities will include retail and hospital pharmacies, where space is limited. Pharma Logistics has no control over the customer facilities and Pharmers may work in areas where they are subject to noise, close quarters, small enclosed rooms, or poorly ventilated areas. The Pharmer will be required to travel with their own equipment, including boxes, computer, printer, scanner, paper, tamper-evident bags, markers, and pelican case. The Pharmer will be handling pharmaceutical products at all times while on customer sites, which includes hazardous and control substances (liquid, pill, powder and vials with needles). Personal protective equipment will be provided and must be worn at all times to prevent exposure to hazardous product. While traveling via car, Pharmers must be diligent and aware of their surroundings at all times in order to drive defensively.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this role, the Pharmer is required to stand for a minimum of 8 hours a day; talk and hear; and use hands to handle, or touch objects or controls. This is accompanied by the need to walk as well. The Pharmer will also be required to stoop, bend, twist/turn, kneel, squat, or reach above the shoulders. The Pharmer must frequently push, pull or lift a minimum of 50 pounds. The Pharmer will be required to travel with their own equipment, including boxes, computer, printer, scanner, paper, tamper evident bags, markers, and pelican case. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus. Pertinent product information may be small, requiring the ability to adjust and focus vision from product to computer and vice versa. The Pharmer will also be required to spend time in a vehicle to travel from site to site, including day and nighttime travel. May be required to travel via airplane.

Compensation Range and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $22.00-26.50, per hour. Actual salary may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, Pharma Logistics’ business and organizational needs, as well as an individual’s relevant experience, education, qualifications, certifications, skills, seniority, geographic location, and/or performance.

Group life, AD&D, and long-term disability insurance. 14 days of paid time off, along with major holidays (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day). The Company may offer 3% Company contribution on the 1st of the month following 60 days of service.
