Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions in the United States seeks a Field Service Representative to provide operations and maintenance on water treatment systems across industries.

You will troubleshoot, perform maintenance and calibration, conduct analytical testing, and work with customers to ensure contract specifications and performance targets are met. The role requires travel 15–20% and a focus on safety, quality, and detailed technical reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.
• 2+ years’ experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Willing to travel 15-20%.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and controls on valves, pumps, and instrumentation.
• Ensure contract compliance of volume and quality specs.
• Consult with customer management and operations teams.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and chemical supplies.
• Prepare site paperwork and detailed technical summaries.
• Perform other duties as required.

Job Description

Job Summary

The Field Service Representative role at Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions involves providing operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems across various industries. This position is critical for ensuring the optimal performance of technologies such as media filtration, softening, reverse osmosis, and more. The representative will be responsible for troubleshooting, conducting maintenance, and performing analytical testing to meet customer needs and contract specifications.

Key Characteristics

• Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance
• Conduct maintenance and calibration activities on water treatment equipment
• Perform analytical testing such as turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, and other site-specific testing requirements
• Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems

Duties & Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical, electrical, and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation
• Ensure contract compliance of volume and quality specifications
• Consult with customer management and operation teams
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts.
• Create and maintain site paperwork, and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed
• Other duties as required

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with project teams
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to meet all customer site requirements

Qualifications

Education & Experience

Required

• Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills
• High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent 2+ years’ experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must be able to travel 15-20% frequency

Preferred

• Bachelor or Associates Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in Instrumentation

Working Conditions

• Ability to travel within the region as needed
