Job summary

Veolia Water Tech is seeking a Field Service Representative to deliver operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems across diverse industries. You will work on multiple technologies, including filtration, RO, IX, and UF, ensuring reliable system performance.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and collaboration with customers. Travel about 25% is expected, with a focus on safe, compliant field operations.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in Industrial, oil field, refineries, and/or chemical plants.
• Mechanical, chemical, and/or electrical experience.
• Able to lift 50lbs and maintain safe work practices.
• Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Strong communications skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain site paperwork and provide detailed technical summaries of work performed.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and controls on equipment such as valves, pumps, and instrumentation.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and chemicals and ensure stock accuracy.
• Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems as required.
• Perform analytical testing (turbidity, pH, chlorine, etc.) and other site-specific tests.
• Enter and complete work orders in MaintainX maintenance program.
• Other duties as assigned by site management.

Job Description

As a Field Service Representative, you’ll be on the front lines providing operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems for one of our customers from one of a variety of industries. This mission-critical role involves working on a variety of technologies, including media filtration, wastewater, softening, reverse osmosis (RO), ion exchange (IX), de-oxygenation, electro deionization, and ultrafiltration (UF).

Duties & Responsibilities

• Create and maintain site paperwork, and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed
• Carry out mechanical, electrical, and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and an adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts
• Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems
• Perform analytical testing such as turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDi, TOC, in addition to various other site-specific testing requirements
• Enter and complete work orders in Maintenance Program (MaintainX)
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in Industrial, oil field, refineries, and/or chemical plants
• Mechanical, chemical, and/or electrical experience
• Mechanically inclined
• Basic computer skills (email, data entry, online training, EHS reporting)
• Able to lift 50lbs
• Clean driving record
• Strong communications skills

Education & Experience

Education & Experience - Required

• High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent 2+ years’ experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment
• Current valid Driver’s License

Education & Experience - Preferred

• TWIC Card (it can be provided)
• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in Instrumentation, electrical, or mechanical
