PAC is seeking a self-motivated Field Service Technician to install, calibrate, repair and maintain PAC Physical Properties instruments at customer sites across the West/Northwest US, with travel to other regions and internationally as needed. You will train customers, troubleshoot applications, and ensure equipment performance meets ASTM and PAC specifications.
You will work with sales to upsell services, manage field inventory, document activities, and mentor less experienced technicians.

PAC is seeking a self-motivated individual responsible for maintaining and servicing customer accounts in the West/Northwest Region of the United States. The role also requires travel to other parts of the country and internationally, as needed (CA, NV, OR, AK, HI, WA, ID, MT, WY, ND, SD, NE, CO, and other locations). The Field Service Technician must live near a major airport, preferably: Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, or Denver. The field service technician will install, configure, calibrate, certify, repair, maintain, troubleshoot, and operate company products and systems at customer sites, primarily supporting PAC Physical Properties instruments. The role also includes providing product training to customers, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and occasionally assisting with application troubleshooting.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock when in the operations, laboratory areas or on customer sites. The noise level in the work environment in the office is usually moderate, but due to open office environment noise level may occasionally be high. When performing on-site service, noise and exposure levels may vary dependent on respective customer site conditions.
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California, Washington, and Colorado is $36.00 - $43.00. The salary within this range will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications, including skills, knowledge, education, experience, and location.
