Job summary

Brunswick Corporation is seeking a proactive Customer Experience team member in Orlando, FL, to provide frontline marine service and coordinate parts, inventory, and warehouse activities. You will diagnose and repair boat systems and work with marina personnel, suppliers and internal teams to keep boats operational and show-ready.

The role requires hands-on marine service, strong organizational skills and the ability to manage technical and administrative duties within tight timelines.

Qualifications

  • Ability to diagnose and repair marine engines, drives, rigging, controls, gauges and related boat systems.
  • Working knowledge of parts inventory, warehouse, shipping, receiving and material-control practices.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize technical and administrative work in a fast-paced customer environment.
  • Ability to maintain complete and accurate service, inventory and logistics records.
  • Computer literacy, including Word/Outlook/Excel; experience with diagnostic software and inventory systems.
  • Customer-focused communication with marina personnel and cross-functional partners.
  • Positive attitude, integrity and professionalism; adaptable and organized.
  • Strong time-management and problem-solving skills; meet deadlines independently or with a team.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Two to four years of experience servicing outboards, stern drives, rigging or boats; relevant training may count.

Responsibilities

  • Receive service and boat-status requests from marina personnel, assess urgency and prioritize work.
  • Provide on-site marine service dockside or at a facility, meeting deadlines for rental and operating times.
  • Diagnose and repair engine performance, drives, rigging, controls, gauges and related hardware.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and service on Mercury products; recommend improvements.
  • Safely operate vehicles and equipment to support rigging and movement of boats.
  • Create and distribute parts kits; procure materials for maintenance and repairs.
  • Maintain accurate service, parts and equipment records.
  • Coordinate warehouse activities including receipt, inspection, storage and shipping.
  • Manage shipping/receiving schedules and inventory levels to minimize delays.
  • Collaborate with teams to resolve material constraints and allocate resources.
  • Support continuous improvement by monitoring service and inventory performance.
  • Maintain a safe and tidy work area and equipment.
  • Work weekend days as part of a five-day schedule.

Position Overview

As part of the talented Customer Experience team, you will work act on the front line to provide world-class service to Disney and its rental and work fleet of more than 300 boats. This blended role performs marine technical service while coordinating the parts, inventory, warehouse, shipping, receiving and administrative activities required to keep boats operational, safe and show-ready. The position works directly with marina personnel, internal partners and suppliers to prioritize needs, complete repairs, maintain accurate records and support the reliable flow of materials and equipment.

Essential Functions:
  • Receive service and boat‑status requests from marina personnel in person, by phone or by email; assess urgency, prioritize work and communicate status and requirements.
  • Provide on‑site marine service dockside or at a maintenance facility, working within tight deadlines to ensure boats are available at required rental and operating times.
  • Diagnose and repair engine performance, drives, rigging, controls, gauges and related boat hardware using test equipment and laptop diagnostic software.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and service on Mercury products and related boat equipment to factory specifications; recommend maintenance or configuration adjustments that improve performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Safely operate trucks, tractors, trailers and boats to support rigging, de‑rigging, launching, removal and movement of equipment.
  • Create and distribute parts and accessory kits; procure and stage materials needed for scheduled maintenance, repairs and customer support.
  • Maintain accurate service, parts, product and equipment records, including inventory transactions, work performed, material usage and equipment status.
  • Administer service‑location warehouse activities, including receipt, inspection, storage, packaging, shipment and auditing of supplies, materials and equipment in accordance with established procedures.
  • Coordinate shipping and receiving schedules, inventory levels, warehouse space and material flow to support service priorities and minimize delays.
  • Work with operations, purchasing, logistics, suppliers and other internal functions to resolve material constraints and align resources with customer requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement by monitoring service, inventory and material‑flow performance; identify process gaps and recommend practical improvements.
  • Maintain the work area, warehouse, tools, facilities and equipment in a safe, neat and orderly condition.
  • Work weekend day(s) as part of a five‑day schedule and rotate days off as operating needs change.

  • Positive work attitude, integrity and professionalism; motivated self‑starter who is adaptable, organized and responsive.
  • Strong time‑management and problem‑solving skills, with a sense of urgency and the ability to meet deadlines independently or as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Two to four years of experience servicing outboards, stern drives, rigging or boats required; relevant technical training or school time may be included.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate’s Degree or relevant technical education
  • Experience with inventory control, warehouse operations, parts distribution, shipping and receiving, or related logistics responsibilities preferred.
  • Customer service experience preferred.

The hiring range for this position is $54,300 – $75,400 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary based on multiple factors including job‑related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
