Job description

Shape the Service Experience at LiftOne

LiftOne is a fourth-generation, family-led organization built on trust, integrity, and a genuine commitment to the success of our customers and our people. As a privately held, innovation-minded company supporting the nation’s supply chain, we invest in talent, facilities, and technology to deliver reliability at scale—without losing the culture that makes us who we are. Expect competitive pay, solid benefits, and the chance to grow your career alongside a supportive team.

Day in the Life

Morning kicks off with a performance huddle—reviewing safety, quality, delivery, and cost. You’ll walk the floor (Gemba), clear roadblocks, and line up the day’s work. From there, you’ll prioritize and dispatch work orders, approve time and service documentation, and check inventory and van readiness. You’ll stop by a customer site, verify quality in the field, and coach a tech through a root-cause problem. Before the day is done, you’ll run a quick team meeting, log actions in our service platform, and identify training opportunities to help your technicians advance.

What You’ll Own
  • Lead our site-level lean management cadence: daily huddles, Gemba walks, structured problem-solving, and leader standard work.
  • Track SQDC metrics to elevate customer satisfaction and improve profitability.
  • Facilitate technician meetings; escalates issues to the Service Manager or centralized support when needed.
  • Visit customers and accompany techs periodically to verify workmanship and follow up on quality.
  • Champion safety and ensure adherence to company policies and best practices.
  • Approve timesheets and work orders; maintain accurate service and parts records within our platform.
  • Dispatch, prioritize, and balance workload across resources to meet commitments.
  • Hold standards for workmanship; ensure service vans are clean, professional, and properly stocked.
  • Own the preventive maintenance (PM) program to meet company completion targets.
  • Develop people: complete reviews, deliver coaching, support promotions, and handle disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Assist with staffing decisions and map out technician career paths.
  • Other duties as assigned.
