Qualifications

We’re seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Field Service Mechanic for our rental pump division. If you're an experienced Diesel Mechanic looking for a new challenge with a great company, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

What You’ll Do

As a Rental Field Service Mechanic, you will play a mission-critical role in the daily operations of our business! You will be responsible for the service and repair of our rental pumps. You’ll work closely with the rest of our rental team, providing a first-class customer experience to our growing territory serving the contractor, municipal and industrial markets providing dewatering systems. This position will work out of our Tulsa, Oklahoma, Facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working on a broad range of pumps used for dewatering and liquids transfer in mining, construction, municipal and industrial projects for both temporary and permanent applications.
  • Troubleshooting (service & repair) diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and pump end issues to meet the needs of our customers on and off the job site.
  • Providing a first-class customer experience, whether you are part of the installation team, servicing and repairing, coordinating logistics for material handling and delivery, or inspecting and dismantling a temporary solution.
  • Safely utilizing all tools and equipment and ensuring compliance with all personal protective equipment requirements.
  • Traveling as needed (overnight weekends and extended periods)

Skills & Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude
  • Desire to learn
  • Customer 1st attitude
  • Working knowledge and experience with diesel engine repairs and electrical issues
  • Thorough understanding of the methods, materials, tools, and techniques used in equipment repair and maintenance
  • Advanced knowledge of DC electric and circuit testing skills
  • Advanced knowledge of AC electric motors, up to 500v systems
  • Advanced knowledge of 3-phase and single-phase systems and motors
  • Experience working on construction or industrial work sites
  • Ability to safely operate diesel-powered hydraulic lifting equipment, i.e., forklifts, front-end loaders, two-motors, telehandlers, etc.
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently in a fast-paced environment and work flexible hours in order to respond to customer emergencies
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • CDLA License required
  • Forklift certification

Physical Demands:

  • Heavy lifting (up to 100 pounds)
  • Full range of physical motions associated with general labor work continually throughout 8 hours
