Job summary

CACI International Inc is seeking an experienced Service Mechanic, Journeyman to support maintenance and repair across Indo-Pacific operations. You will inspect, diagnose, service, and repair mission-critical vehicles, generators, and mechanical systems to ensure readiness and safety for logistics and contingency missions.

The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, documentation, and coordination with logistics planners, with up to 10% travel and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years supporting equipment maintenance and field service for DoD programs.
• Experience with government or defense maintenance documentation and logs.
• Active Secret Clearance.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical equipment, generators, and MHE.
• Ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance with timeline pressures.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, repairs on vehicles, generators, MHE, and mechanical systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and fuel system faults using manuals and tools.
• Conduct maintenance per DoD standards and manufacturer specs.
• Repair or replace defective components and maintain repair records.
• Coordinate with logistics and maintenance teams to identify parts and priorities.
• Maintain maintenance facilities, tools, test equipment, and inventory in safe condition.
