Job summary

H&K Equipment is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to service a range of material handling equipment, including forklifts, diesel, electric or LP powered units. You will work with limited supervision and must be able to operate independently with a safe driving record and your own tools.

Responsibilities include inspecting, diagnosing, servicing heavy equipment, performing preventative maintenance on-site at customers' locations, and ensuring compliance with manufacturers’

Qualifications

• Experience servicing heavy earth moving and lift equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose and service heavy earth moving and lift equipment (diesel, electric or LP fueled).
• Determine required repairs.
• Maintain equipment service records.
• Conduct regular preventative maintenance on-site at customers' locations.
• Test equipment after repair to ensure performance and manufacturer specs.
• Hydraulic and diesel experience preferred.
• Must have clean, safe driving record.
• Pass pre-employment drug test, physical and background check.

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician with heavy equipment experience to join our team for immediate hire to service various types of material handling equipment and forklifts. This position will require the ideal candidate to work with limited supervision and must have the ability to work, think and operate independently and have a safe driving record. Must have your own tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inspect, diagnose and service heavy earth moving and lift equipment (diesel, electric or LP fueled) to diagnose technical problems
• Determine required repairs
• Maintain equipment service records
• Conduct regular preventative maintenance tasks on-site at customers' locations
• Test mechanical equipment after repair or assembly to guarantee proper performance and compliance with the manufacturers' specifications
• Hydraulic and diesel experience necessary
• Strong electrical aptitude necessary
• Must have clean, safe driving record
• Prior mechanical and technical experience on large mobile and earth moving equipment preferred
• Applicant must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, physical exam, and background check
