Qualifications

• Requires the ability to understand detailed technical schematics, owner manuals, and safety warnings.
• Own a sufficient selection of hand and air/electric tools to complete repairs and services.
• Able to operate and test equipment like boom lifts, forklifts, generators, hydraulics and pumps.
• Must be on call to support operational needs.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on Herc fleet at long-term customer sites.
• Conduct oil changes, lubrication, tire and battery work, and basic repairs.
• Diagnose heavy equipment to ensure proper operation on site.
• Troubleshoot fuel, electrical, hydraulic and propane systems.
• Document service reports and repair logs accurately.
• Adhere to safety guidelines at active job sites.
• Maintain organized work areas and comply with company procedures.
• Build positive relationships with customers and team members.
