Job summary

Allied Interior Solutions, a division of Allied Stone, Inc., is seeking a Field Service Manager for the West Coast to coordinate multi-family cabinetry installations and liaise between clients and AIS.

Based in the West Coast, the role covers Utah, California, Nevada, Arizona and surrounding states; travel to job sites is frequent. Essential duties include coordinating delivery, approving subcontractor invoices, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cabinetry manufacturing processes and quality control is preferred.
• Ability to interpret financial reports, budgets and ensure profitability.
• Understanding health and safety regulations in a construction environment.

Responsibilities

FIELD SERVICE MANAGER Multi-Family- West Coast

SUMMARY OF POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITY:

The Field Services Manager at Allied Interior Solutions is the first point of contact, responsible for coordinating all aspects of the installation of multi-family cabinetry projects. The primary duties for this position include managing and submitting sub-contractor invoices and being a strong liaison between the client and the AIS.

***This candidate will be working in the West Coast area covering Utah, California, Nevada, Arizona, Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon etc.***

• Coordinating delivery and installation with clients.
• Approve and submit subcontractor invoices/draws for payment.
• Maintain competent installers and ensure paperwork is complete and timely.
• Anticipate and resolve client issues.
• Attending client mandated meeting as required.
• Maintain strong relationships with the client and all departments in AIS.
• Commit to being highly visible on job sites.

QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR TRAINING):

Required Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Preferred Education:

• None

Required Experience:

• Three Years Construction Experience

Preferred Experience:

• At least One Year Experience in Construction Management

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, ABILITY AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge:

• Understanding of cabinetry manufacturing processes, materials, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Understanding financial reports, setting budgets, and making necessary adjustments to keep the company profitable.
• Understanding and ensuring the company’s compliance with health and safety regulations.

Skills:

• Ability to plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of a manufacturing establishment or of a production department within a manufacturing establishment.
• Excellent customer service skills to deal with clients’ inquiries and complaints.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective communication with clients, staff, and management.
• Ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems that arise in the manufacturing and delivery process.
• Ability to manage one’s own time and the time of others effectively.
• Ability to negotiate with suppliers and clients to meet the company’s objectives
• Basic Computer Skills such as MS Office Suite

Abilities:

• Ability to self-motivate and work without immediate supervision.
• Ability to build strong relationships with clients and provide a positive customer experience.
• Ability to make necessary adjustments to meet on-time delivery goals.
• Ability to ensure the company’s compliance with health and safety regulations.

Work Environment:
Field Environment with exposure to construction sites and the general hazards associated with that field.

Physical Demands:

Manual Dexterity Required to manipulate standard office peripherals.

Ability to sit for extended periods.

• Ability to work out door in extreme weather.
• Ability to work at unfinished construction sites.
• Ability to drive for long periods within a designated service area.

Travel Required:

Constant Travel to visit multiple work sites in a designated service area. This position will cover the West Coast area: Utah, California, Nevada, Arizona, Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon etc.
