Job summary

TekWissen® is seeking a Client Field/Computer Technician to repair laptops and desktops across the metro area. You will replace hardware components, perform unit swaps, and handle peripherals as needed. Reliable transportation is required to service the metro region.

Candidates should have hands-on repair experience, basic Microsoft software knowledge, and the ability to resolve simple issues. Travel and timely ticket closure in the client system are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years hands-on experience with laptop and desktop break-fix.
• Computer-building background preferred.
• General knowledge of laptop/desktop hardware and software including basic Microsoft applications.
• Ability to resolve basic/non-complex problems as directed.
• Client and/or governmental clearance may be required.
• Must be able to complete required product training.

Responsibilities

• Repair laptops and desktops in the metro area.
• Replace components such as hard drives, motherboards, keyboards.
• Perform whole unit swaps and PC peripheral replacements as needed.
• Must have reliable transportation to service metro and surrounding areas.
• Close service tickets in real time in the Client Call Management system.
