Job summary

Prismhr Hire in Midland, TX is seeking a Field Service I&E Tech with hands-on flowback and drillout experience in the oil and gas sector. You will provide technical support, troubleshoot and analyze field data, and assist with maintenance and commissioning at wellsites.

The role focuses on choke manifolds, electronic/hydraulic controls, valves, and pressure control systems, with customer-facing communication and adherence to HSE standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in flowback and drillout operations (oilfield services mandatory).
• Experience with electrical troubleshooting and know how to use a multimeter
• Strong working knowledge of choke, valves, pressure control systems, and electronic/hydraulic controls
• Familiarity with surface well testing and flowback equipment
• Experience with troubleshooting electronics and instrumentation in the field.
• Strong mechanical and electrical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in remote field locations.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for flowback and drillout operations.
• Support, troubleshoot, analyze various data sets
• Effectively communicate back for continuous improvement of products
• Primary products candidate will interface with include choke manifolds, plug catchers, actuated valves / devices, electronic systems, and control equipment
• Monitor systems performance and report operational data both internally and externally.
• Strong communication skills, often customer facing, ability to handle high pressure situations
• Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) standards.
• Train and support field personnel in the use of equipment and software.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to provide feedback on equipment performance and potential design improvements.
